How are we going to convince the public to participate in a serious debate about how to solve the UKs energy crisis? This was the question troubling industry leaders at the Guardians energy fringe session at the Labour party conference in Manchester.
Senior figures from across the energy sector were challenged on what their organisations were doing to engage the public in tackling the energy crisis. Consciences were pricked, and notable schemes such as National Grids powering Britains future project mentioned but theres clearly some way to go.
